| This is my first guitar project, a fretless accoustic/electric bass. I am very happy with the way it turned out, considering it's function-follows-form design. All conventional accoustic theories were ignored. It sounds ok in the living room unplugged, but realy comes alive when hooked up to a good amp. Thanks to jjb's pickups I can work with the shape of the natural wood and still have great sound quality. My next project is a six-string guitar. It's coming right along and will be powered by a jjb triple pickup. More pics when finished. |
