| I decided to mod my Americana "The Showdown" today by installing dual sound transducers with a volume and tone control. Took me all of about five minutes to drill the holes and install the electronics. Note the volume and tone controls above and below the word "Showdown". The pickup was a great eBay find "Made in the USA" dual sound transducer set with volume and tone controls from www.jjb-electronics.com for $29.95. So here is the deal $28.99 for the guitar from Overstock.com and $29.95 for the pickup!. My own little Gretsch Americana "Sundown" Acoustic Electric for less than $60! |
